I ran across this book a couple days ago and thought it was genius! It's a compilation of Real Simple magazine's feature called "New Uses For Old Things" where they show how to "repurpose everyday things in clever ways" {their words}. I am a huge believer in upcycling/using things you already have and making something with them, rather than buying them. Mostly because I usually have creative spurts late at night when all the stores are closed and I have no other choice but to use things I already have...

I'll never look at aluminum foil the same again!
 

 

I believe there is good design found in everyday life and I aspire to find it, create it, and share it, bit by bit. Thanks for stopping by!
